Student Song Writing Contest

Students, participate in the annual “Student Song Writing Contest!” This year, the local committee has selected a theme of Honoring the Past & Looking to the Future. Participants must submit an application with a written copy of their original composition, containing lyrics, melody, and chords, as well as, a recording on a cassette tape, CD, or mp3 file.

Winner will receive $75 towards AMTA membership! The winner will be recognized at the Awards Luncheon on Saturday. The song will be performed at the Closing Session of the WRAMTA Conference in a manner selected by the contest winner.

The application will be available on the WRAMTA website and is due by February 15, 2008. For information on entering the student song contest, contact Local Chairs:
